I can't say I know you, but I did hear your story though the spread of mouth on a website, and I can honestly say I am deeply sorry for your loss. I have always belived that one day we will all be reunited with our loved ones in a better place. One day we will all be together. Your story touched me, made me call my mother, made me call my father and let them know how precious life really is. You will always be in my prayers and may the lord be with you in this time of need.

We are very sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine.  I do believe that once our loved ones leave this earth that we will be reunited with them in heaven.

We were so very sorry to hear of the great loss your family has suffered.  Travis has know Steve since they were little boys attending RCA together.  The Cook family is very dear to him.  We will continue to keep you all in our prayers as you work through this sorrowful time.   

No one can begin to imagine the pain and sorrow your family is going through and will pass through. I cannot begin to imagine. Only time and faith will help you heal. No amount of condolences will begin to help, and no amount of "I'm sorry's" will bring your angels back to you. But have faith that the Lord has them at his table and they are awaiting your entrance into heaven to be by their sides once again. Grief is a very dark process, and I can only imagine how dark yours will be losing so much, but remember God heals all wounds. Have faith in him and keep your eyes to heaven, knowing your family is there watching over you and waiting. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Prayer for Missy

 

Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, we approach Your throne of grace, bringing Missy and her family before You.  We recognize that grieving is a human emotional process, and we give her the space that she needs to enter into the rest that you have for her. Lord, Jesus bore Missy's grief and carried her sorrows and pains.  We know Heavenly Father that Your Spirit is upon Jesus to heal Missy's broken heart.  May Missy be gentle with herself, knowing that she is not alone, for You Almightly One is with her and You will never forsake her. 

Heavenely Father, we ask You to fill Missy with Your precious Holy Spirit.  We ask You to fill her with all Your fruits of Your Holy Spirit which includes love, joy peace, patience, gentleness, and goodness, with longsuffering, with meekness, faithfulness and self control.  Heavenly Father, in Jesus' Holy Name we ask You to fill Missy with Your Holy Ghost anointing and power, fill her with Your presence, in the Name of Jesus Christ, we pray with thanksgiving. Amen!!!!!!

Words cant express the sorrow I feel for your family.  Madison was in my daughters class and I will always rember that smile.  I would see her coming down the hall and she would give you that beautiful smile and a quick little wave.  What a wonderful little girl.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.  It may not seem like it now but God will help you through this tragedy.

Madison's death has deeply affected the students/staff/parents at HJB. Someone commented that her death is to the school as 9-11 was to America. This is true. For most of the children this is probably their first experience of a friend's death. As for the adults...we can not help but think of our own children, grandchildren, etc, and hold them a little tighter.

 

Your family has deeply moved many in Front Royal. We are sorry for your loss. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are with you. We pray for your recovery; physically, mentally, and spiritually. Know that you have many people who care about you in this town. We are here for you, whatever you may need. God Bless and Keep You.
